About this case
Patient NAR is Norwood class 4, with good hair characteristics. He had one hair transplant of 2,900 grafts, in June 2009; the after photos were taken 14 months later.
The result looks full partly because of his hair characteristics: coarse, dark, wavy hair and a good contrast between hair and skin colour. The 2,900 grafts were implanted at an average density of 42 follicular units per cm², with more grafts near the hairline and front centre.
The patient is also on medical treatment.
