Patient VEN is Norwood class 5, with slightly wavy black hair. He had one hair transplant, in May 2009, in which 3,025 grafts were implanted; the after photos were taken 15 months later.
The 3,025 follicular units were placed over an area of 120 cm², an average density of about 27 grafts per cm². In the front 40 cm², 1,325 grafts were implanted, a density of about 33 follicular units per cm²; the other 1,700 grafts were placed in the remaining 80 cm², about 21 per cm².
The patient is also on medical treatment, which is helping him keep his existing hair.
