Follicular units are taken one at a time from the back and sides of the scalp with a small punch, under local anaesthesia. FUE leaves no linear scar and allows shorter haircuts afterwards.

The centre treats people from Hyderabad as well as NRIs and patients from other countries. Besides hair transplant surgery, it provides medical treatment to prevent further hair loss and slow the progression of baldness.
A hair transplant moves live hair roots to the bald area (the recipient area). The transplanted roots keep behaving like the hair in the area they were taken from.

The cost of a hair transplant in Hyderabad at our centre is charged per graft: Rs. 80 per graft for FUE, Rs. 60 per graft for FUT, and Rs. 100 per graft for a long hair transplant or a beard transplant. You feel minimal, tolerable pain for a fraction of a second when the local anaesthetic is injected. After that the area is numb. Most patients relax, watch television or listen to music during the procedure, and the doctors use pain-minimising techniques throughout.

Transplanted hair is taken from the back and sides of the scalp, where hair resists balding, and it keeps behaving like the hair from that area; you can cut it normally. Your untreated original hair can still thin over time, so the doctor may advise medicines to slow further loss.
Not everyone with hair loss is suitable. The main requirement is a good donor area at the back and sides of the head, and you must be medically fit; there is no upper age limit if you are healthy. Young patients in early stages may be treated with medicines first. Am I a good candidate?
