Mega, super mega and giga sessions

Hair transplants are done in sessions, and a session is named by how many grafts are implanted in it. At the centre, a mega session is 2,500 grafts, a super mega session 4,000 grafts and a giga session more than 4,000 grafts.

One advantage of larger sessions is that many patients get the result they want in a single session.
What large sessions depend on
Large sessions need a big, well-trained team of doctors and surgical assistants. Whether one is possible depends on three things:
- the capability of the surgeon and team to handle that many grafts
- the donor supply: whether your donor area can give enough grafts
- the speed of the dissectors and implanters: more than 300 follicles an hour for dissection and more than 400 grafts an hour for implantation
