Ultra refined follicular unit grafting (URFUG) is FUT in which the strip is dissected into very small, refined follicular units under stereo microscopes and implanted into very small incisions. It allows dense packing and a more natural result.
How URFUG works
Hair transplantation has gained acceptance because newer techniques and equipment give natural-looking results. In URFUG, the donor strip from FUT is divided into much smaller, refined follicular units under stereo microscopes, and these are implanted into very small incisions in the recipient area. This makes dense packing possible, giving a result that follows the original hair pattern.
